Black Swan

There may be no movie that I'm more excited to see this year than The Black Swan.  I am one of those people who has loved everything that Darren Aronofsky has done - even The Fountain, which I found to be really beautiful.

Combine that with Natalie Portman and fellow Star Trek and Settlers enthusiast Mila Kunis and I just don't see how this movie could be bad.  I'm even more intrigued over something I just read:
“Black Swan” is an art-house horror film — 10% “The Red Shoes,” 20% “Pi,” and 70% Polanski's “Repulsion.” Aronofsky adopts much of the technique, the perspective, and the concept of the latter, which makes a great model. “Repulsion” has the advantage of a bit more ambiguity at the end, but there's plenty enough here to keep things intriguing.

I don't get to the cinema much these days because I don't usually have the time or money.  However, I might just treat myself to a matinee of Black Swan once classes have ended next week.
